Be on location, “Hope Springs”, Stonington Borough

Walk around Stonington Borough. It’s impossible not to see the people talking for the upcoming premiere of “Hope Springs”.

The Stonington Borough Merchants Association and Stonington-Mystic Patch are proud to sponsor the month-long “Save the Stub” promotional event.

You can see the movie, starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell between August 10 and August 19 and save your ticket stub.
Pick up a “Save the Stub” passport at the Olde Mistick Village Cinemas, at Regal Cinemas in Stonington, or download your own from Stonington-Mystic Patch.
Go on location with “Hope Springs” in Stonington Borough.
Bring your passport and ticket stub to the borough and receive discounts at Stonington Borough businesses until September 16, 2012.

A History of the Harbor boat tours will take place on Saturday, August 11 at 7 p.m., and Sunday August 12 at 9 a.m.
Sunday Walking Tours of Stonington Borough presented by the Stonington Historical Society will tell the history of the Borough with tidbits from the filming of “Hope Springs” and “Mystic Pizza”. The tours take place on Sundays at 2 p.m., weather permitting at the Stonington Lighthouse.
