Meryl Streep would reprise “Devil wears Prada” role

Everyone was excited when the news about Lauren Weisberger was penning a sequel to her debut novel “The Devil Wears Prada” reached us. (read more here: “The Devil wears Prada” gets a sequel)

So officially Meryl Streep confirmed she would reprise her screen-stealing role as the aforementioned ‘Devil’ and Runway editrix Miranda Priestly, should a silver-screen adaptation be made of “Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns” – although there is one issue currently standing between Streep and Priestley’s sample-size Prada threads. That was her response while speaking to Access Hollywood at Tuesday night’s Women in Film Crystal and Lucy Awards with her friend and Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis:

Yeah, no. No. Is there one? I’ve never heard about it. But sure. I mean, I’d have to lose the f***ing weight, but yes, I guess I would do that.

So becoming Miranda Priestly once again may involve some serious method eating on Streep’s part, but it will definitely be worth it.
